Faqs
Q: Are there any restrictions to participation in the Fund?
A: Yes, three:
1. Your participation in the Fund will be annulled if you die by suicide. The Fund will not risk legal liability if your family blames the Fund for you taking your life in the event you think you will get to the future sooner by doing so.
2. Your participation in the Fund will be annulled if you are killed in the process of, or the result of, committing a crime. The Fund will not risk legal liability in the event you act against the criminal code of your country on the presumption / defence that one day you will be transported to the future.
3. Your contribution to the Time Travel Ticket Fund is a chance- it is speculation only with no guarantees of success. By joining the Fund you agree to this and joining the Fund is evidence that you agree to this. Again, the Fund is a chance to visit the future, not a guarantee.
Q: What if in the future the currency is changed? The Dollar is
no longer in use?
A: Some form of currency will be in use. If the currency mode is changed,
we will convert the Fund's holdings to whatever that mode is.
Q: What if Time Travel is legally prohibited?
A: There are a number of options that will be examined at the time:
1. We can use a portion of the Fund to finance legal challenges. Laws can be changed.
2. We can wait until public and corporate pressure changes the law.
3. We can disburse the Fund to your living descendants according to the law at the time.
Q: Can I purchase a ticket for a friend or another living relative?
A: Absolutely. You can either purchase a Time Travel Ticket in their name
or you can purchase a Gift Certificate for them.
In fact a Trime Travel Ticket would make an unusual and interesting Gift
for a loved on or a friend.
Q: Ok, what about my deceased spouse, parent, grand parent...?
A: The Fund is not just limited to the living. You can contribute for a
deceased loved one. They could be retrieved moments before their recorded
death, and you could possibly meet them again in the future. You can pay
for a membership for someone who is already deceased. There are, however,
two restrictions to this:
1. The other person must be a close family member and not a public figure of notoriety (no Adolf Hitler or Pol Pot).
2. The person must have not stated in their will that they do not want to be brought back.
Q: Why should I join the Permanent Endowment Fund? I can set up
my own fund.
A: That is correct. You can. But contributing to the Permanent will ensure
that your your heirs will not have access to the Fund. If you set up your
own fund, your heirs may be able to go to court and take it anytime after
your death. The Permanent Time Travel ticket Fund is set up for one specific
purpose and its Terms are clear.
Q: How do I book my Time Travel Ticket?
A: Once you have read the Contributers
Agreement, go to the Ticket Booking
page.
